How do we know? It seem...Is it the economy, stupid? How do we know? It seems to me that it could be a figment of our self-indulgent imaginations wherein we create economical problems simply to convince our "selves" that the economy exists. Don't quote me on this, but we possibly create political parties in order to give our "selves" something to cling to, in order to assure our "selves" that our "selves" even exist. Then, and I'm not saying this is absolute, we create wars and kill people in a desperate attempt to prove that we are mortal by testing the mortality of others, and that we are not just figments of our own imaginations, which don't really exist either. And maybe we pinch our "selves" to make sure we're real, and when we feel pain we are comforted...when really, we only feel the pain because "society" has told us that when pinched, we feel "pain"...and, I loosely hypothesize, it is really only in our heads. Think about it. If "it" really even exists...If your non existent self ever wants to be happy, it better stop thinking about...itself.

If you don't show up to pick me up on Tuesday I'll safely assume your head has exploded. I saw headlines today...Most excellently put rooney. I saw headlines today, granted it was on yahoo news bleeps, one headline read [not a direct quote] Obama not doing enough for economy, the second, two headlines down wrote: Obama trying to accomplish too many tasks too soon. He knew what he was getting into when he ran, and won, the presidency. It's just going to take political super-human powers to convince the red side. And I agree, as an undeclared democrat, that the push for many borderline socialist ideals has become the forefront of the democratic party, but why not? we've found ourselves in a place in time where for the past 8 years we've shit our pants and worn them the next day without a second thought as to if we should change them. Fuck it, change like this takes time and repubs had their shot, and purposely shot blanks. [too many metaphors? deal]. Thanks for pointing out the lingering 'i told you so' that the republicans are holding dear in anticipation. I pray that Obama's 'hope' will indeed speak louder than it in the coming years. -brindleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
